HEY THERE!
I am Agalia, a senior creative strategist based in Singapore.
I like to describe the work that I do as part an exercise in sense-making, and part an act of imagination.
Influenced by my studies in linguistics and the social sciences, I believe that clarity only emerges when you properly define the context.
Strategy for me thus begins with mapping out the forces at play – be it cultural, anthropological or technological – and then taking creative leaps off these different springboards to imagine and articulate new possibilities.
At work, I combine my natural inclination for macro-level thinking with a methodological approach honed through my early years in a social creative agency to offer brands a clear, compelling vision of where they can play, and how to get there.

RADAR
One of my favourite cosy spaces on the internet, RADAR is a global community of people thinking about and building better futures.
I’ve contributed as an Editor for two of RADAR’s cutting edge reports on ‘A More Playful Future’, and ‘Towards A Centaur Future’, and was a Campfire Lead for their first ever campfire around ‘what constitutes a good use of time’.
I’m also the chapter lead for Singapore, where I host ideation sessions around prevailing topics like algorithmic anxiety and share about RADAR’s literature at industry summits.
FUTURES FRIENDS SG
Futures Friends is a decentralised, self-organising network of curious, creative, and committed people exploring the future together.
I started the Singapore chapter in 2025, with the aim to spark interest towards futures thinking in a fun, accessible manner; encourage a startupy mindset where we meander; and to foster collective intelligence across futures, strategy, design and other disciplines.
We’ve since run 2 sold out events featuring FF’s signature 333 format.
‘half past’ dinner club
Inspired by the concept of supper clubs, I created half past to serve as a third space to meet new people, and share in good conversations over a nice meal.
Our dinners have covered topics like ‘what are you dying to talk about?’, ‘what type of intuition do you wish to hone and why?’ and ‘what’s one thing you wish you knew sooner?’
culture salons @ mandala
Why are we so obsessed with...' is an new intimate salon series unpacking the cultural forces shaping our collective obsessions.
In a podcast-meets-debate style, my co-host and I break down themes like hustle culture and spirituality through a cultural and psychological lens, and invite candid, open discussions in a cosy corner of Mandala Club.
vector
To get to ideas worth talking about, it’s no longer just about content - but about creating context by focusing on who is saying it and how they say it.
vector brings together diverse tastemakers, with the cultural equity & network to rally and influence, to collectively reinvent and ideate at the cutting edge of digital futures.
